Suddenly at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 10, 1994; in her 74th year. Chum Cooke, of Orillia, beloved wife of the late George Marr Ross Sr. Loving mother of Marr Jr. & wife Janice of Barrie, Elaine Thompson & husband Hugh of Orillia. Dear grandmother of Bradley, Jennifer & Tyler Ross, Lisa Obee & Husband Chris, Ross, Erin & Meredith Thompson. Great grandmother of Taylor Obee. Daughter of of the late Norman and Myrtle Cooke. Sister of Jim Cooke & wife Marje of St. Thomas, Joan Pearce & husband Bud of North Bay, & Don Cooke, predeceased. Sister-in-law of Madge Cooke of Markham. The late Mrs. Norma "Chum" Ross will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral service from the chapel, Tuesday afternoon June 14th at 11 o'clock. Interment St Andrew's - St James' Cemetery , Orillia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada would be sincerely appreciated.
