  Birth registration 029300 Archives of Ontario microfilm MS929 reel 51. In her marriage registration, Alice was listed as a 21 year old resident of Orillia and a Presbyterian. Alice's name was spelled Kane in the Birth Registration of son Archibald James. Alice moved to Toronto in 1943. In the Toronto City Directories, Alice was listed as the owner of a house at 58 St. Clair Avenue East 1944-1946 and owner of 17 Edgewood Crescent 1947-1950.
