Born in Wapske, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Chase) Shaw. Daphene is survived by one sister, Elaine Shaw of Plaster Rock; two brothers, Max (Francenna) Shaw of Perth-Andover and Ishmael (Marion) Shaw of Ontario; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; sisters, Thora Goodine and Willa Shaw; brothers, Garnett and Perley Shaw.
