- Attended Orillia Central School for grades 1-8, 1920-28, Orillia Collegiate Institute grades 9-13, 1928-33 and took a business course at OCI 1933-34. Eunice's first job was as a bookkeeper at $6.00 a week working 6 days a week. After raising her family, she went back to work for 15 years as a bookkeeper in a law office. Was living in Orillia in 1942 when her father died. Was living in Medonte Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada in 1955. Was living on R.R. 2, Coldwater, Ontario in 1968 when her mother died. Was living on Horseshoe Valley Road, Medonte Township when her husband died in 1982 and in 1990 when her sister Grace Jeantte died. The Phillips property on Horseshoe Valley Road was still in the hands of descendants in 2004.
