  Birth registration 232439 Archives of Ontario microfilm MS929 reel 73. Was listed as a 30 year old farmer of South Orillia Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada in his Marriage Registration. He was registered as Harvey. Samuel purchased the Old Millers house, 245 Westmount Drive South, Orillia in the mid 1940's. This is the former home of James Thomson and Margaret Dunn and where their three children were born. Samuel bought the house from the Cassidy family and renovated it. Samuel Harvie, beloved husband of the late Nellie Thomson, in his 87th year.
