  Birth registration 029351 Archives of Ontario microfilm MS929 reel 35. Never married. Took over the family farm W1/2 Lot 12 Concession 11, Medonte Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. His sisters Margaret, Georgina and Agnes lived with him. In a B&S dated 28 February 1917 registered 12 March 1917 Robert purchased N1/2 of the E1/2 Lot 12 Concession 11 from his brother William Thomson for $1,250.00. Between 1919 and 1948 Robert sold the N1/2 of the E1/2 Lot 12 in three pieces. Archives of Ontario microfilm GS5463. He retired to Orillia, Ontario in 1948. Buried in St George's Cemetery, Plot R5-13, Concession 11, Lot 11, Medonte Township.
