William was listed as a 26 year old farmer, resident of Medonte Township, born in Scotland and a Presbyterian. Witnesses were David Thompson and Clarissa Hawke, both of Medonte. The service was performed by Rev. A. Bedford of Coldwater, Medonte Township by license. William purchased E1/2 of Lot 12 Concession 11 Medonte Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada on a B&S dated 1 July 1889 registered 9 June 1890, from his uncle, James Thomson of South Orillia for $2,000.00. Was living in Eady, Medonte Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada in 1916 when his farther died. On B&S's dated 28 February 1917, registered 12 March 1917, William sold the N1/2 of the E1/2 of Lot 12, Concession 11 to his brother Robert Thomson of Medonte for $1,250.00 and the S1/2 of the E1/2 of Lot 12, Concession 11 to John T.
