  Grace graduated in Household Economics from Victoria College, University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1932. Lived in Red Deer and Calgary, Alberta and Toronto and Ottawa, Ontario with her parents, Senator Edward Michener and Mary Michener. Grace was first married in 1939 to Mr. Vern Little, who was a school teacher before becoming a lawyer. They lived in Sudbury and had two sons, William (Bill) David Little, a lawyer who lived in Los Angeles, California and Bryson (Little) who took the Powell name and was a musician. Grace and Vern divorced. She then married Clare Powell who owned an insurance agency, they had a daughter, Mary Powell and they lived in Toronto. Grace was a dietitian at Wellesley Hospital, Toronto in the 1940's when she married Mr. Powell at her brother Roland Michener's residence. Grace and Donald Amos first met when they attended Victoria College, they married in 1985. Grace survived her brother Charles Edward Michener when he died 15 October 2004. Grace was living in a retirement home in Toronto and related some of the above information in a phone call 3 November 2006.
