- aka Fran. Frances was attending Birmingham Southern College were she met Roy Edward Warren. They married October 6, 1937. She attended Tulane University obtaining a Social Work Degree. Roy joined the Air Force and was stationed in Hawaii. Frances lived in Hawaii until 1942. She was on a ship going to Washington State when Pearl Harbour was bombed. Roy was killed in action March 22, 1944. Frances attended Washington State University obtaining her Masters Degree. Roy and Frances had no family. Frances married Walter Neil Kanawyer on July 7, 1951. They had two children, Merry Ann (married Bill Clingen, had no family and divorced) and William "Bill" Neil (had a daughter, Laurel). Frances married Sherman in 1973. She worked for Camarillo State Hospital, State of California, retiring in 1986. Fran suffered a series of small strokes in the 1990s which left her hard of hearing and affected her memory. She was lovingly cared for by Sherman and still enjoying life in 2003 when Wayne Thomson visited.
