    • Was christened in Westminster United Church, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Attended Davin School in Regina through Grade 3, General Gordon in Vancouver, British Columbia Grades 4 - 6, Kitsilano Junior High in Vancouver Grade 7, Davin School in Regina Grade 8 and Balfour Technical School in Regina Grades 9 - 12 majoring in Home Economics and graduating in 1946. Graduated in 1947 from Balfour Technical School in Secretarial and Drafting. Attended summer school at University of Saskatchewan in 1947. Attended Regina College in General Arts 1947-48, Attended University of Saskatchewan in Education 1948-49. Did secretarial work at Continental Insurance in Regina 1949-51, Moved to Vancouver in 1952 and worked for British Columbia Government Mental Health before getting married. Married James Eric Gronlund in 1952. They had five children. Ann lived in a custom designed house trailer in Surrey, British Columbia while James worked on construction sites such as Kitimat, Campbell River, Revelstoke, Hazleton, Portage Mountain Dam. In 1962 they built a house in Coquitlam, British Columbia, the house and lot costing $16,000. Ann and James divorced in 1976. In 1989 Ann travelled with her brother Ralph and sister-in-law May to Borneo. She travelled with them to Australia in 1990 and was with them in Sweden in 1997 when her mother died. Ann inherited a collection of photographs, letters and genealogical information from her grandmother Eliza Ann and her mother Susan Audrey which she generously shared with Wayne Thomson for this document. She also has a flow blue plate that was part of the set of china belonging to her great grandmother Susan Dennis (Wilson) Fallis.
