  Camilla emigrated to Kyle, Saskatchewan, Canada on April 1, 1928. She married Oliver Sveum on July 3, 1930 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She is listed as a new member of the Zion Luthern Church and Ladies Aid in 1930. They lived for about 20 years on E 1/2 Section 5, Township 21, Range 17, W 3rd Meridian south of Lacadena then moved 1953 to White Bear, Saskatchewan. They were mail carriers for eight years. After Oliver passed away July 19 1961, Camilla worked for the Municipality of Lacadena as a cook for road construction crews. Oliver is the father of the children listed. They are step children of Robert Thomson. After marrying Robert Thomson they lived on Robert's farm until they had to relocate to Kyle, Saskatchewan in 1968. After Roberts sudden passing in 1971, Camilla moved to Swift Current, Saskatchewan. (according to Lacadena and District "A Link to our Heritage", Oliver Sveum, p357).
