- aka Bes. Was living in Orillia, Ontario, Canada in 1943. Her wedding took place September 25, 1943 in the Manse at Uhthoff, Orillia Township, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. G.C. McVittie. Bridesmaid was Miss Margaret Hewitt of Atherley and the best man was Mr. Donald McLeod of Rugby. Was living in Rugby, Ontario, Canada in 1981 when her mother died. Developed dementia and became a resident of Trillium Manor Nursing Home in Orillia about 1995.
JOHNSTON: Mary Beatrice passed away at the Trillium Manor on Monday January 30, 2006 in her 85th year. Bea beloved wife of Bernal. Loving mother of Bryan and his wife Judy of Rugby. Dear grandmother of Jason of Rugby and Mark, (predeceased). Daughter of the late Archie and Minnie Thomson. Sister of Phyllis and Husband Werner "Vern" (predeceased) Hoeschele of Downsview. Aunt of Martin Hoeschele and Stephen and wife Andrea and their family. Predeceased by brother Allan Thomson. The family will receive friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm on Thursday. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday February 3rd, 2006 at 1 o'clock. Spring Interment Esson Cemetery. If desired memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Esson Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
