The Orillia Packet & Times, Thursday, June 24, 1999, page 16 McCarthy Ellen Margaret (nee Ross) Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Monday, June 21, 1999; in her 85th year. Ellen McCarthy, of Orillia, predeceased by her brothers Thomson Archibald Ross and John Gray Ross. Loving mother of Don & wife Carol of Oshawa, Jane of Orillia & John of Orillia. Fondly remembered by all her friends and relatives. The late Mrs. Ellen McCarthy will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Thursday evening 7 - 9 and on Friday June 25, from 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 o'clock. Interment St Andrew's St James' Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be gratefully appreciated.
