Norris, 66, of 16 Burnhamthorpe Park Blvd., mathematics teacher in Toronto for 35 years, is being buried in Park Lawn Cemetery this afternoon. He died Monday night at High Park Curling Club. Funeral service is at the Yorke Chapel of Turner and Porter at 3 p.m. Mr. Norris was born in Belhaven near Sutton, educated in Markham, and was graduated from Queen's University in 1921. He served overseas in World War I. Mr. Norris taught at Parkdale Collegiate until his retirement seven years ago. Since then he has taken an active interest in his Orillia district farm where he raised beef cattle. He was a champion tennis player during his student days and an active curler. He was an elder at Islington United Church. Mr. Norris leaves his wife, Jean; two daughters, Mrs. D.C. MacTavish of Waterloo and Mrs. C.B. Dixon of Toronto and five grandchildren. His brother, John Taylor Norris who died two years ago, taught at Humberside Collegiate.
