- In 1934 was living in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. In 1959 and 2000 was living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Worked for the Saskatchewan Provincial Government, Correspondence School; worked for the Correspondence School in Edmonton, Alberta after World War II; did secretarial work at the University of British Columbia for the Fire Marshall, in Real Estate Training, in the Commerce Department and other departments. Was cremated, part of her ashes are scattered at Spanish Banks, Vancouver and part are buried in a Glendinning plot in Crescent Road Cemetery, Strasbourg, Saskatchewan.
BROWN - Edythe Marie (nee Glendinning) August 30, 1909 - April 9, 2004 died peacefully with her daughters by her side. Predeceased by her loving husband Arden McKenzie Brown. Edyth was a very special person with a wonderful sense of humour. She will be sadly mourned by her children Glen (Judy), Jim (Cathy), Bettye and Patricia (Raymond Dorey); grandchildren David, Jennifer, James and Karen; great grandchildren Bryan and James; and many family and friends. Thank you to all the staff at Haro Park Centre for their love and kindness to our beloved mom. Service to be held at West Point Grey Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, April 14th, 1:30 p.m., reception to follow in the church hall.
