- Was listed in the 1901 Canada Census, Manitoba, District 8 MacDonald, sub-district E4 Langford, page 4, Film T6433. Never married. Taught school in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Jessie Maud (Thomson) Mulder met Margaret in Regina in 1929. Retired in 1961 and moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to live with her sister Mary Helen. In a check of the Winnipeg City Directories, Margaret was listed as living at 23-300 Furby Street 1963 to 1968. Died from skin cancer. Margaret is buried in Lot 10, Block 5, Range 11A, Riverview Cemetery, Neepawa.

Margaret Connell Thomson
A former resident of Neepawa, Margaret Connell Thomson, died February 5 at Winnipeg General Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 67. Funeral services were held February 7 from White's Funeral Chapel with Rev. J.P. Jones of First Presbyterian Church, Brandon officiating. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were A.F. McKenzie, R.M. Wells, J.C. Montgomery, L. Kelly, W.M. Habkirk and W.A. Connell.
Born January 3, 1901 in Neepawa, Miss Thomson received her education here. She taught school in Regina, until her retirement in 1961, when she moved to make her home with her sister in Winnipeg. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her sister, Helen of Suite 101 - 1955 Grant Avenue, Winnipeg 9.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Thomson; two brothers, Wilfred and Harvey; and two sisters, Mabel and Mrs. O.G. (Janet) Wallace.
