- aka Fannie. Marriage Registration 012969 Archives of Ontario microfilm MS932 Reel 76. Witnesses at the wedding were Mary Smith and David Thomson. The service was conducted by John M. Aull. Was living in Palmerston, Ontario at the time of her marriage. In 1898 was living on Concession 2 in Minto Township, Wellington County, Ontario, Canada when her mother died. In 1914, were living at Lot 24, Concession 1, Minto Township where their daughter Janet's marriage took place. Fanny was a seamstress and worked for her husband's sister, Bell Martin in her shop in Palmerston. Buried beside her husband in Palmerston Cemetery, Plot M-12-2, Concession 1, Lot 26, Minto Township. Fanny's home was the gathering spot for Thomson family gatherings. Fanny suffered very badly from arthritis. Fanny's granddaughter, Marion Bridge stayed with Fanny for about three years after William died. Fanny then went to live with her daughter Mabel at Rodney, Ontario but they did not get along. Fanny then moved to her daughter, Janet's farm, where she passed away.
