MATHIESON, Walker Donald - At Orillia on Sunday, September 28, 1975. Walker Donald Mathieson, beloved husband of Mona Hubert of Warminster, Ontario, in his 63rd year. Dear father of John David of Winnipeg, Manitoba and James Hubert of of Windsor, Ontario. Brother of Ken Mathieson of Warminster and Jean (Mrs. Lorne Quick) of Orillia. Resting at the Doolittle Funeral Home until Thursday, October 2, 1975. Then to St. Paul's United Church for service at 1:30 p.m. Interment in St. George's Cemetery, Fairvalley, Medonte Township. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation would be appreciated.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34 are requested to meet at the parlors Wednesday evening for service at 7:30 p.m.

BAIRD - Lily Anne - Lily died at City Hospital on Saturday, June 5, 1999, after a short illness. She was
born on the family farm at Colonsay on October 23, 1920, and attended Boyan and Colonsay schools. She became a hairdresser and operated her own business, with partner Marian Tiffin in Saskatoon for many years. Lily married Jack Baird on November 24, 1958 and together they farmed in Kenaston until 1989. They had bought a house in Saskatoon in 1979 and fully retired there, except for spending the winters in Mesa, Arizona. Lily was active in the Homemakers Guild and the Catholic Women's League while on the farm and in her painters' group at St. Thomas Wesley after moving to Saskatoon. For the last two years she lived at Columbian Manor where her outgoing personality gained her many friends, as it did throughout her life. Her home was always open to family and friends alike. She enjoyed life and had a wonderful sense of humour. Lily was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1995 and by their son, John who died at birth, her parents, Edward and Ellen Morrissey and brothers Edward and Joe. She is survived by her sisters Ellen Morrissey and Lila Thoner, sisters-in-law Doris Deaver, Ellen Baird, and Chris Baird, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family thanks Dr. Andreas Kluftinger and the nurses and staff at City Hospital's ICU for their compassionate care. The Vigil Prayer will be held at the Chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. June 9. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by Fr. Bernard de Margerie at Holy Spirit (Kingsmere and Taylor Street) on June 10 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of floral tributes, the family would appreciate donations to the Palliative Care Unit, c/o St. Paul's Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home.

WILLIAMSON, Dr. Gordon Everard, RCAF F/O-427th Lions Squadron, June 15, 1923 - October 16, 2005. Peacefully in Burlington on Sunday, October 16, 2005. Reunited at last with his loving wife Dorothy Jane. Blessed by his love, he will be forever with his children Ronald James of Burlington, Jon David (Michelle) of Whistler, BC and Jenifer Rae Crockett (Dan) of Kingston, Ontario and Grandad to Rhegan and Mardi of Whistler, BC. Beloved brother of Norma Thomas of Fresno, CA. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Jennie Williamson, sister Audrey and brother Bruce. Gord's presence in their lives will always be cherished by Peter and Mavis Lehman and family, Lois Williamson and family, Earl McFadden and family, Yvonne McGrath and family, Duncan Thomson and family, Carol and Ian Marr, Ethel and Bill Dodds and family, and Bob and Heather Thomson and family. Members of RCAF Squadron 427 held a special place in Gord's heart and life: Ron McKay, Arthur Hiller, Johnny Mulvihill and Bruce Gingell. Gord knew many citizens of Burlington as both a dentist, a member of the Rotary Club of Burlington, and as a friend. The staff and volunteers of the Carpenter Hospice allowed Gord's last days to be filled with comfort and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the man who was Gord will be held at St. Christopher's Anglican Church, 662 Guelph Line, Burlington on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 1 p.m. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Carpenter Hospice or the Juno Beach Canadian Military Memorial would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Great grandfather of Alyssa, Dylan and Tray. He was born in Rugby, Ontario to William and Lilly Anderson. Brother-in-law of Myrne Terry and her late husband Matt, Alex Thomson and wife Gladys, Gray Thomson and wife Patricia, Ruth Vollick and husband Lawrence, and the late Archie Thomson and his late wives Dorothy and Shirley. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. The late Mr. Albert Anderson will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Peacefully at home, with his family at his side, Warminster on Saturday, January 6th, 2001; in his 99th year. Walker Rix, beloved husband of 64 years of Lenora Rix (nee Ward). Loving father of Frances and husband Douglas Thompson of Oshawa and Larry predeceased. Dear Poppa of Adam and Ruth Ann. Predeceased by brother Joe, brother-in-law of Mrs. Betty Rix of Orillia. Lovingly remembered by the Ward family, nieces and nephews. The late Mr. Walker Rix will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 7 - 9 p.m. Monday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday and at St George's Anglican Church, Fairvalley on Wednesday January 19th from 12 noon until 1 o'clock at which time a "Celebration of Walker's Life" will be held.
