Kathleen is survived by two daughters, Gaynelle Wood and her husband Fred of Mactaquac, NB; Janet King and her husband Gordon of Newburg, NB; son James Gray of Newburg, NB; Chosen son Edward Gallagher and his wife Marjorie of Hollis Center, Maine; daughter in law Bernice Gray of Newburg, NB; one sister, Welma Craig of Hartland, NB; eleven grandchildren, Tracy Tomah; Tressa Flowers; Eugene Gray; Daniel King; Jeffrey Wood; Carolyn Hatcher; Andrew King; Lisa Porter; Krista Weeks; Jamie Gray and Sara Gray; eighteen great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; three sisters-in law; Marion Patterson, Gwen Gray and Hope Foster; several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Byron and Sophia (Rockwell) Foster; her husband Donald Gray; son Robert Gray; granddaughter, Kathleen Gray; three sisters, Vera Ford; Ferne Lemieux and Hazel Claire; five brothers, George Foster, Murray Foster; Bus Foster; James Foster and Dow Foster.Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB; with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. 2111 | Grew up on the farm and was educated at Stoney Creek School and in Neepawa, Manitoba, Canada. Was listed in the 1901 Canada Census, Manitoba, District 8 MacDonald, sub-district E4, Langford, page 4, Film T6433. He enlisted with the Fort Garry Horse (Manitoba) during WWI, Regimental Number 2147767. He and his horse travelled to Montreal by train and then by troopship to Britain. He did not see action, spending the duration of the war in Wales. After service to his country, he returned to Stoney Creek and succeeded his father on the farm in 1920. After his marriage to Frances, they lived on the farm until 1940 when they moved to Neepawa, into the home built by William and Mary Thomson in 1920. Was an active participant in all events that took place in the community and church. Was an avid sportsman, especially baseball and curling. He and his nephew, "Nero", went on many hunting and fishing trips. In 1940 Harvey was appointed Secretary Treasurer for Rural Municipality of Langford, a position made available by the retirement of his father-in-law. The same year, Harvey was appointed Secretary Treasurer of the Beautiful Plains Agriculture Society. He was also a Justice of the Peace. He worked these positions until his passing in 1960. The family had a cottage at Clear Lake. John's funeral service was held in Knox Presbyterian Church, Neepawa, Rev. David Smith officiating. In the Toronto City Directories, Guinivere lived at 58 St. Clair Avenue East with her mother 1944-1945, then at 17 Edgewood Crescent 1946-1950 with her mother. In 1951-1957 Guinivere and her sister Geraldine owner and lived at 17 Edgewood Crescent. Guinivere worked at Northrop & Lyman 1944-1948 as a drug filler, finisher, machine operator. From 1949-1957 she worked for J.F. Hartz Co. as a packer, clerk, lab assistant. She may have returned to Orillia about 1957. Was living in Orillia, Ontario, Canada in 1976 when her brother Francis Oliver died. 2137 | Harvey attended Bernice School near Melita, Manitoba, Canada for grades 1 through 8, took correspondence courses for grades 9 and 10, then attended High School in Melita. Harvey rented some land in 1949 and tried farming. That fall, he left for Winnipeg and worked maintaining an outdoor skating rink. The next spring (1950) he was a door to door vacuum cleaner salesman and after three months with no sales decided he was not cut out for sales. He then worked in McLeods warehouse, then got a job with the CPR Telegraph installing telegraph lines in the muskeg of eastern Manitoba. In May of 1952 he started work, in Chalk River, for Atomic Energy of Canada. At the suggestion of the company, in 1955, he started attended the University of Manitoba and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
